
FEAR AND COWARDICE IN LAS VEGAS
I have to admit it. I don't like to talk in public that much. The heart begins to beat quickly, both arterial blood and porous sweat begin to flow, and the pupils dilate upon contemplating the audience's possible reaction. However, once 'the battle' (personal) is at hand, the mind concentrates and one places attention on the goal. Once one begins to talk, the senses become tranquil at one's concentration on the theme and the presentation of personal ideas--which will hopefully turn on some light bulb in some receptive mind. It is an inevitable duty of the academic process: the direct sharing of one's ideas with the public.
TEMOR Y COBARDIA EN LAS VEGAS
Tengo que admitirlo. No me gusta mucho hablar en público. El corazón empieza a palpitar, tanto la sangre en las venas como el sudor en los poros empiezan a fluir, y la pupilas se dilatan ante la consideración de la posible reacción de la audiencia. Pero, con 'la batalla' (personal) en mano, la mente se concentra y uno pone atención en su meta. Una vez que uno empieza a hablar, los sentidos se tranquilizan, al uno concentrase en el tema y presentar sus ideas--lo que esperadamente prenderá alguna bombilla en alguna mente receptora. Es un deber inevitable del proceso académico: el compartir directamente sus ideas con el publico.
